Important Updates on JEE Main 2025 Exam
Change in Section B Questions:
As per the NTA’s public notice dated October 17, 2025, optional questions in Section B have been disqualified.
Now, only 5 mandatory questions will be included in Section B instead of the earlier 10 optional questions.This change impacts the JEE Main Syllabus 2025, requiring candidates to focus on mastering the updated pattern.
Guidelines for Foreign Candidates:
Foreign candidates must select at least one Indian city as their preferred exam center.
This selection should be made from the Appendix-VII list provided in the brochure, based on priority. Keeping these updates in mind will help candidates align their IIT Preparation strategies.
How Many Attempts for JEE Mains 2025? Candidates are eligible to attempt the JEE Main exam over three consecutive years, with two sessions per year—January and April. This means candidates can appear for JEE Main up to six times.
